Service centres test HSDPA-enabled wireless devices with Willtek’s 4400 series
Willtek adds new software options to its flagship mobile phone tester Ismaning (Germany) and Cheadle Hulme (Cheshire, UK), 18 March 2008 – Willtek Communications, a global supplier of the mobile communications industry, today announced two new options for tests and measurements on wireless devices supporting HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access). The options to the 4400 Mobile Phone Tester Series complement the system options already available for all relevant mobile communication standards including WCDMA, EDGE, GSM/GPRS, CDMA2000 1xRTT and 1xEVDO, and TD-SCDMA. The 4400 series is used by major service centres in the test and repair of mobile phones and wireless data devices. The options are available immediately.
The new 4455 HSDPA Call Mode Option from Willtek helps service centres and repair factories to identify and locate faults in HSDPA-enabled wireless devices. The 4400 series with this option performs all the relevant transmitter and receiver measurements to ensure high quality in mobile phones. The 4456 HSDPA Non-Call Mode Option is used in both repair and manufacturing for fast and precise measurements during the alignment of wireless devices.
The options further extend the capabilities of the Willtek 4400 Mobile Phone Tester Series. These instruments are being used in many service centres because the 4400 is fast, accurate, flexible and reliable.
