     Genus’ turnkey projects provide total solutions, right from meters to metering. It also covers design, supply, installation, erection, testing and commissioning of substations, renovation of existing T & D System, rural electrification, Conversion from LVDS to HVDS and includes energy accounting and auditing at all distribution levels.

     The company already has significant market share for its indigenously developed “Sure Sine Wave(tm) inverters”, one of the firsts in India. To cater to the increasing demand of its products, the company has set up its new manufacturing unit at Haridwar in addition to the existing unit at Jaipur consisting of hi-precision six SMT lines, fully automatic test equipment and well equipped plastic moulding setup with 16 injection moulding machines ensuring right quality product at affordable price.  Now its meter manufacturing capacity has risen from 1.4 million electronic meters to 1.9 million.

     Enlarging its product portfolio , by launching new products like keypad based prepaid meters, high- and low voltage distribution systems, split metering, online UPS, solar inverters and inverter accessories in the near future, Genus will continue to maintain a technical edge over its competitors.

     The company has entered into an agreement with Mobix - Israel to manufacture electronic meters using state-of-the-art AMR technology. This JV has helped annex the growing electronic meters’ demand in Latin America and Africa. To strengthen its global presence and to cover the Asia Pacific region, Genus has set up a representative office in China & Singapore and manufacturing unit in Brazil.
